how many followers can you expect in a normal campaign? 1 per day? 10 per day? I'm a bit confused.
Kevin StrasserMaker@kjstrasser · CEO TribeBoost / Founder MoSquatch
@gabrielmachuret There are so many factors that play into this...that the only real answer is "it depends." All of the following come into play: 1) The current size of your account (number of followers, number you are following) 2) Your niche 3) The quality of your Twitter feed 4) Your gender (women do better than men, particularly attractive women really do better than men (sad but true), men do better than brands, known brands do better than unknown brands, etc.) 5) How often you tweet 6) The quality of your avatar 7) Your location (especially if you want to geo-target your campaigns with us) so NYC > Greenland 8) Your bio 9) More stuff I am forgetting right now... If you send us the account you are considering, we can usually give a very good guess. For instance if you are wondering about your own account (@gabrielmachuret) > I would guess that we would be able to deliver you 1000 - 1300 new followers per month for starters. This is a large part of why we have always had a free two week trial period. During that time it will be very clear what to expect going forward, as follow back rates are unbelievably stable.

I am not a fan of the follow/unfollow method. Personally, I consider it a form of Twitter spam.
Kevin StrasserMaker@kjstrasser · CEO TribeBoost / Founder MoSquatch
@anthonydnelson Even when you are only following a very specific pool of people? And not just trying to ramp up numbers? Looking at the people you are following now, it is no different than what we would do for you > follow quality founders, CEOs, digital marketers, etc. The only difference is we would be doing it for you. On the unfollowing > yes we unfollow those that do not follow you back after a few days. You can call that spammy...but being that Twitter has very strict rules on how many people you can follow -- there is no getting around this if you want to keep connecting with new people.

@kjstrasser Hi Kevin, I value the content in my Twitter feed too much to risk following accounts that might be no more than syndicated RSS feeds or other non-engagers, simply because they are in my niche. I simply don't think this is the *right* way to grow a following or expand your reach.
Kevin StrasserMaker@kjstrasser · CEO TribeBoost / Founder MoSquatch
@anthonydnelson We don't think non-engagers or syndicated RSS feeds are good targets either. We take the quality of the accounts very seriously... To become a follow candidate an account would have had to tweet with a specific targeted term in the past 3 days, match specific biography terms, not trip any of our red flags (adult filters, language filters, spam filters, etc.) all the while also surpassing a wide variety of quality filters (age of account, amount of times listed, number of followers, frequency of tweeting, following/follower ratio, there are about a dozen more).

@kjstrasser Thanks for sharing more about your product. I still don't find value in the general premise of following thousands in hopes they will follow (and give you their attention) back. Looking at your Twitter account, I see you are following 20k+ accounts on Twitter. I just don't think it's possible to know and engage with that many people. Congrats on being featured on PH!

@anthonydnelson I understand where you are coming from. I completely felt just like you a few years back...I wanted to do everything by hand and on my own. But being that I was managing my own account, accounts for some clients, and accounts for my own businesses -- I had to start getting creative with how I use my time if I wanted to actually get any "real" work done. Something had to change. It is natural to think that doing things by hand is always superior...but the numbers do not always back that up. I would like to compare and contrast our accounts using Followerwonk (a great tool). I think it would be fun and potentially interesting. Your smaller, hand done, and carefully cultivated following vs mine... Of course we have to take these numbers with a grain of salt. As good as Followerwonk is...no tool is perfect. We both understand that. I would hope at the end of this you might see that our accounts are not all that different -- and even accounts with heavy numbers can still do very well in terms of the quality and engagement of connections. So I can make this easy to read with nice formatting and graphics...I would like to do this as a blog post. I think it is a pretty unique topic and not like anything I have done before. What do you think Anthony?

I am humbled and thrilled to see TribeBoost listed on Product Hunt... At TribeBoost we treat our clients like partners and everything we do is totally custom for every client. Our aim is to do what you would do for yourself, if you had time to be on Twitter all day long connecting with new people. We want to connect you with the right kind of people -- not just random folks that have "I follow back" listed in their bio. Another thing different about us is that we are a complete service. We are not a tool that you have to tweak around and play with – hoping to be able to figure out how to make it work. We do all of the work for you, but we like it that way as it is the best way to ensure customer success. If anyone has questions about how we do things or how the service works -- just let me know. You can email me at Kevin At TribeBoost.com.
