    Pros:

    climate of retro dystopia

    Cons:

    repetitive mode combat

in a climate of retro dystopia, Transistor is very happy to implement a seemingly simple gameplay style that opens up a variety of possibilities during combat. The story is not groundbreaking but it's very scripted. In summary, a great RPG with beautiful scenarios in neon.

Supergiant Games (creators of Bastion) just released their sci-fi RPG masterpiece for iOS. "Transistor is a sci-fi themed action RPG that invites you to wield an extraordinary weapon of unknown origin as you fight through a stunning futuristic city."

Played Bastion through twice on my iPad. Have heard good things about this, was wating until I could play on iOS. Wonder how the controls translate to say tablet vs. desktop

@rustydingo The turn-based nature of the combat makes me think it'll be more playable than Bastion, but I haven't tried it yet either

@russfrushtick yeah until I really got the hang of Bastion I found myself falling off the world quite a few times. Looking forward to playing this tonight.
