@seanocallahan yes that was the inspiration! but tradecraft has a couple key improvements: 1) games can be played across multiple days (it seemed like horsepaste would sometimes reset the game state overnight at times) 2) a confirmation step if you want to see the spymaster view (it felt too easy to accidentally see the answers otherwise)

- Needs instructions. I have no idea what I am doing. - Might work really well as an app. People love simple multiplayer games that are challenging. - There are chat channels you can add to apps without the need to create them. Not sure how much they cost though. It would need you to take it commercial rather than as a fun game for mates to make adding chat channels worthwhile.

I'm a big fan of Codenames but haven't been able to play with friends IRL with everybody on lockdown. So I made this little site so we can still play this super fun game while keeping our social distance. The game board syncs across devices as you play. For now, we just text each other the clues back and forth in a group thread and that works fine (but I'm hoping to soon build a chat feature within the site to handle that). Have fun!
