I was going to sit back and relax tonight ringing in the New Year like everyone else, but @sethlouey had other ideas. So we had a little hackathon and made our last project of 2016 and the first of 2017. I'm a big fan of the best of nines that have been floating around, and thought it would be nice to build something like that for Dribbble. See what people having been designing and liking during 2016. So in about the 6 hours that remained for 2016, we crushed out TopShots. Sure it still has some rough edges, but very happy with what we were able to do. What do you think of our little New Years Eve hackathon project?

@mubashariqbal Really impressive ! An awesome way to end a year and begin a new one πŸ‘
@mrcalexandre thanks, was a lot of fun! πŸŽ‰πŸ’―
Since being nominated for Maker of the Year by Product Hunt, I've had this urge to do more this year. I want to push botlist to a whole different level, I want to be more involved in helping community members out, and I want to team up with some new individuals who will help drive the products (Mubs included :) ). While my fiancee was working that grueling ICU nurse shift, I had to bring in the New Year by myself... well, until I sent this tweet https://twitter.com/sethlouey/st.... I finally twisted @mubashariqbal arm (wasn't that hard actually) and his response was hilarious, "Ok, I have this idea but we can start it after I go eat dinner." ~Mubs. This was a fun little hack project just to set the pace for the New Year. Thanks for everyone who has supported us. I hope 2017 brings everyone happiness. What a crazy night and one of the best ways to set the right foot forward in 2017.
@itschriscates thanks, it was a fun ride!
Similar to the Instagram collage maker, 2016 Best Nine. Awesome idea and love that you built this over NYE, @mubashariqbal and @sethlouey. πŸŽ‰
Thanks @rrhoover. We needed to set a higher pace for 2017. ;) // @mubashariqbal
@rrhoover BTW, it's really awesome seeing everyone's work by searching the hashtag on Twitter. https://twitter.com/search?f=twe... // @mubashariqbal
