Thanks for hunting @rod_argumedo1 - has it been useful for you? Can't wait to try this out for organizing social events with friends.

@abadesi Yes. However, if people don’t want to pay for the unlimited polls ($1.99/year), then they just wait for 24 hours to start another poll. It can get annoying at times but it’s fun.

Just curious, do recipients need to have this app installed to be able to view and respond to polls I send?

@jalendport Yes, each user must have the app to view and cast their votes.

@rod_argumedo1 @jalendport That's correct. In order to vote you'll have to install the app, but it's easy to install right within iMessage. Down the road i'd like to add web voting as well for compatibility with android and desktop.

If you install it I highly recommend buying the upgraded version for $1.99 since you can’t take full advantage of the features otherwise (like adding more answer options and sending unlimited polls). It's totally worth the $1.99 since I've been using it everyday.

Pros:

Easy to use, beautiful design with fun animations, very useful to get fast answers via iMessage and especially convenient for group texts

Cons:

Not on Android, other people need it downloaded to use and vote, I wish there were notifications, need to upgrade to get full features

Thanks for hunting this! It started as a fun experiment in my free time, but it quickly proved to be a fun and useful thing for my friends and I, so I wanted to share it with the world. It's still early days for TinyPoll, but I have a lot of ideas to make it even better. I'd love to hear what everyone thinks. If you have any feedback or questions please ask away!
