What plane is flying over my house? Tinfoil Pigeons is a live radar scope: enter your postcode and see the flights overhead right now, then tap one to find out what it is.
So ive opened it in the background, will it ping me or send me a notification when a plane travels above me? BTW nice one.
@shahmeer_baloch1 Ah amazing thanks for the message. At the moment the site won't ping a notification when something enters your airspace - however I can certainly work that into the next update :)
@shahmeer_baloch1 Hey Shahmeer - I hope you're good. Just to let you know we've added a new feature 'Sonar Ping' if you tick that box the site will make a subtle 'ping' sound each time a new aircraft enters the scope

Fun little project, the retro radar concept is a nice touch. One thing that stood out while testing: your Content-Security-Policy is locked down tight enough that most automated scanners (including standard accessibility ones) can't even inject a script to run against your site. That's unusual, and if intentional, a genuinely strong security posture for a non-commercial side project. Only flagging it because it also means you won't get much automated a11y feedback from tools like this unless you loosen it slightly or self-audit manually. Nice work either way.
The postcode-first approach is what makes this click. Instead of opening a full flight tracker, you get a simple answer to what’s above you right now, which feels much more casual and fun.
