Hi Product Hunt, I'm Tommy, co-founder of Timeless. I spend most of my day in Claude Code, and for a long time the one thing it couldn't do was hear my meetings. Every decision and every "can you send that by Friday" happened out loud, and later I'd retype it all into a prompt. A few notetakers already let Claude read your notes through MCP. I wanted Claude Code to do the whole job, starting with setup. So you paste one line, and Claude installs Timeless, gets you signed in, checks your mic permissions and starts a test recording while you talk. As far as we know, no other notetaker sets itself up through your agent. After that, you start recording the call you're in right from Claude Code or Codex (no bot joins), send a bot to the meetings you'll miss, pull the summary when it ends, and ask about anything you've ever discussed. Answers cite the exact sentence and when it was said. I've been running it on more than 2,400 of my own meetings. My favorite use so far is a brief that preps my morning before I open anything else. Setup is one line: "Set up Timeless for me. Fetch https://docs.timeless.day/cli/ag... and follow those instructions exactly." The Claude Code connection is on our Max plan, and Timeless has a free plan if you want to try the notetaker on its own first. We're six people and we'll be in the comments all day. The honest answer depends on who's switching:

For developers, who Timeless Code is built for, it's the last one you mentioned. Reading your notes from an agent is useful. The switch happens when Claude can start the recording, then turn what was decided into a Linear or GitHub issue in the same session. Citations are what make that safe: every answer points to the exact sentence it came from, so you can act on it without rereading the transcript.
For teams, it's usually the bot. Our largest customer standardized on Timeless across the company, and the unlock wasn't a feature list. People found bots in their calls intrusive, and recording from the desktop with no bot joining took that friction away.
For bilingual teams, transcript quality comes next: a lot of our users speak Hebrew and English in the same sentence, and it's the reason many of them tell us they stay.

hi all!

i designed the recording widget (among other stuff). the idea was to make timeless almost disappear while you work. the colon on the widget blinks like a clock while it records, and that’s pretty much all you need to see. just the tip of the iceberg.

what would you guys want to see the moment a call ends? i’ll bring the best ideas into our next design review.

living inside Claude Code instead of a separate app is the interesting bet here. curious how it handles a meeting that runs long or gets messy, does asking about it later pull the raw transcript into context every time, or does it summarize first so a 90 minute call doesn't blow through your context window on a simple question?
