I wil say this at the risk of helping my competition ; ) ...but if the creator is going to join this thread, what are some use cases for this system? Giving a few ideas on the first page will probably help user activation quite a bit.

@rsweetland I thought that originally, but thinking it through, I don't personally think that the two products are competitive actually in terms of the most common use-cases. This doesn't seem to be for scheduling communication that looks like it was sent at X time, I think the fact here is to explicitly make it clear that a message has been queued to be unlocked at a later date; I comment on some ideas for use cases bellow.

@_jacksmith After looking into it more I agree. Cool use cases below – especially the blockchain idea for time verification!

@rsweetland, thanks for your comment. The idea of Timedrip is to allow people send messages to others that cannot be opened before a certain time. Some quick use cases can be found here: https://www.timedrip.com/about

I think that this could actually be very interesting for things like placing bets on a sports game score etc. As something like Boomerang, where the email is scheduled, you can always cancel the scheduling or change the content. This actually reminds me of bitcoin, and it could be interesting if it were built on the blockchain imho. That people have spoken about how the bitcoin blockchain could be used to prove that a message was sent at a certain time. e.g. I can make a prediction; then later reference that as proof that I'd made that prediction at that time.
