Their $1 sample wound up costing me that plus another $32.08 because I didn't see the "fine print" that I was also set up with a recurring subscription - that wont be refunded unless you pay all the shipping and pass their return police. No log in to cancel, no permission to retain my credit card info - just a phone number. They did, though, respond to my email to tell me with highlighted screen shots of their sign up process to illustrate the fine print I missed about the recurring charges. They would only refund my money provided I jump through a bunch of hoops. I'll pass on this product no matter how good it is. I don't trust pushy, shady companies that force your hand for your money.
Works very well at preventing hangovers, however I wish there was an option to cancel auto refills over the website or email. I dont make phone calls for personal reasons and it seems silly to have one option to cancel.
Got this product on the "trial" before getting the subscription. Purchased it late Friday after a night of drinking. Tired it once the next weekend and it did not work for me. I got the chance to try it again the next Thursday expecting to be able to cancel before two weeks had passed on Friday.
Nope.
Got up on Friday not feeling the positive effects and had a bill for $32 already charged. Called first thing and it was "too late to cancel" even though they definitely were not yet actually shipped since the shipping label was created overnight. Hooray! Now I have $32 in worthless pills, a hangover, and a recommendation to "Take 4 pills next time".
Gotta love these subscriptions without any online accounts. Their goal is to try their hardest get that first order after the trial. There is no online account management at all. No support email. You have to call them. And then they send you your new supply a day early and won't cancel while your shipment is still at their warehouse.
This product seems to work but it does not erase hangovers completely. If someone has 10-20 drinks in a night, this wont prevent a hangover, especially the delayed hangover later in the day, but it will help you feel better so in that sense it can be worth it. It is expensive for what you get but one drink costs more than one nights dose of Thrive so that's one way to look at it. Only negative is very poor customer service. Product took 12 days to arrive - when told it would be 2-3 days and person (Shelby) just stopped responding and didn't try to come up with additional solutions when asked if they were available. Actually pretty rude and arrogant. Probably would order again but not impressed with how they handled my order. It's the best option weve tried but it will not prevent one from feeling sluggish - especially later in the day. Does it work? Yes it helps. Does it prevent hangovers? Not completely.
