Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built ThinkingCats because as a serial and solo builder I have spent countless hours building things that nobody cared about except me. Not because I did not do my deep research but because of bad hypothesis in my research. I did not ask the right questions. I was biased towards my creation or idea too much.
I hope ThinkingCats helps you think better, make better decisions, and maybe laugh a little along the way.

Q: Is this just for fun?
A: It’s fun and is particularly useful to see the blindspots in your thinking.
Q: Does it work with any kind of prompt?
A: Yes. Personal questions, research, ideation, planning — ThinkingCats adapts
Q: How accurate are the characters?
A: They all are fictional llm responses prompted to speculate what the expert might have said but they are just for gimmicks and entertainment and not to be trusted with.
Q: Why cats?
A: I love cats plus I don't want to impersonate any real persons for legal and ethics concerns. I just want it to be fun and help myself make better decisions by exploring ways in which llm hallucinations could be used for creativity.
