The Surf Hero

Hey there. My name is Serhii, and suddenly, for myself, I became an indie iOS/macOS developer. The first prototype of the app was made about 6 years ago. I was working as a junior iOS developer, and I wanted to separate my work browsing from my personal one, so I decided to use different browsers for different goals. But this solution was shattered when I was clicking on a link and I had to wait while my "working browser" was loading all of 73 tabs + that one I just clicked on. To prevent this, I had to change the system's default browser, but the way you can do it in macOS was pretty long. So, I decided to create a lightweight status bar app that will allow you to do it in a few clicks. I was so happy using it and a couple of years ago, I decided to recreate it using SwiftUI, adding new features, and here we are. Meet The Surf Hero! The app was just released on the App Store.
