I usually find myself scarily devoted to games like this. Maybe after finals.

aw man, this is awesome. I was really hoping it was a board game though. Maybe that is next!

hum, this seems like a ripoff of Lifeline... http://apple.co/1F81lfx

@in_visivel I think lifeline started a genre of mobile games. I hope to see more notification based interactive stories in the future!

@in_visivel We were definitely inspired by Lifeline, and excited about what they did for interactive fiction! We wanted to work with the genre they created and push it forward with additional interactive characters, real science, and create an emotional connection to Mark Watney. We talked with Eurogamer about it a bit if you are interested (it's on the side bar) - they also spoke with the creators of Lifeline. http://www.eurogamer.net/article... Funnily enough, the story in Lifeline was inspired by Andy Weir's book, The Martian!

I'm a huge fan of Lifeline and ever since I watched The Martian, I secretly hoped for a game like this. Super excited that someone actually made it and it is a lot better than lifeline.

An interactive version of the movie on the new Apple TV would be amazing.
