A really rad place for curated gear and toys and decor. I especially dig the Star Wars section. @MasonDWear and @Nick_Meagher - Why did you two decide to make this?

@brian_lovin Appreciate the hunt, Brian! It all started around the time the new Star Wars movie came out. It seemed like there was an infinite amount of Star Wars products floating around out there, but not one central hub to consolidate them all into an easily consumable format. There were plenty of broad sites that did this such as, This Is Why I'm Broke, but nothing that specifically focused on Star Wars. So, we did what every good dev team did, made something. Originally, it was only Star Wars products, but we had such an overwhelming response from folks that we decided to create what is now The Loot Network. A hub for all things geek culture. We decided to launch with three franchises, Harry Potter, Pokemon, and of course, Star Wars. The vision is to continually expand upon these existing franchises while also adding plenty of new ones to the mix. We're curious to hear your thoughts on the site as well as what other franchises you think need to be added!

@brian_lovin Thanks for the hunt Brian! 😉 We initially started with Star Wars Loot which was just a curation of all things Star Wars. The response was great and people seemed to really like it so we knew we had to expand on that idea a little more. We didn’t want to stray away from the niche market of Star Wars but just wanted to expand. The Loot Network was born, a cultivation of all the best products in one central hub from different franchises. Star Wars Loot was built on top of WordPress so we decided to just extend that platform with The Loot Network and it seems to be working really well for us so far. Our plan is to keep growing and add new franchises to the site. I would love to hear feedback on what you guys think and what franchises you’d like to see!
