Fast in-browser text comparison with sharing and export tools. Includes light, dark, and Brutalism themes — all running locally for speed and privacy.
I built CompareTexts after seeing someone in my office use a text-diff tool that required uploading files. I wanted something faster and fully private, so I built a version that runs entirely in the browser.
The goal was to make a minimal tool that feels clean and modern but still practical, simple compare, ignore case/whitespace options, and a few theme choices including a Brutalism mode.
I have no formal coding background, so most of this was trial, error, and feedback. I’d love to hear what you think of the design and what features you’d prioritize next.
