Hi Product Hunt! We’re the team behind Tesseral, a new open source authentication platform built specifically for B2B software. You may have seen our previous project, SSOReady, an open source tool for adding SAML SSO to B2B apps that resonated with hundreds of devs and founders. That success showed us just how painful auth still is, especially for B2B teams, so we built Tesseral. This is our first Product Hunt launch as a company, and we’re excited (and a little nervous) to be here. Excited, because this is a big deal, and nervous for the same reason! Tesseral started the same way many good developer tools do: out of frustration with existing products; but also, out of an obsession with the intricacies of security. As our CTO puts it: We just love enterprise software, man. Auth is necessary, but it’s also time-consuming, complex, and easy to get wrong. We wanted something that: 1. Just worked out of the box for common B2B use cases 2. Was open source, flexible, and easy to use 3. Came with powerful features: SAML, RBAC, SCIM, etc. 4. Made developers’ lives easier So we built Tesseral. It’s still early, but today Tesseral ships: * Clientside SDK for React * Serverside SDKs for Go, Python (Flask), and Node.js * Support for SAML SSO, SCIM provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and more * An admin console to manage users, organizations, and more If you’re building a B2B SaaS product and are familiar with the pain of enterprise auth, we’d love for you to try Tesseral, leave feedback, or just drop by to say hello. If I manage to get a few customers for my app, I’ll definitely try it out. Seems to solve many problems I’d be handling myself (especially the self-hosting part)
