I wish Slack would make this an official integration.
We just created a #standup room in the Product Hunt slack team. Tatsu's landing page is well done but this workflow makes sense for remote teams that are distributed in different time zones and simply sharing updates asynchronously seems to work well (arguably better).
@rrhoover Let me know if you want to give Tatsu a try Ryan.
A Slack plugin to help your team do asynchronous, remote standup meetings. 'Start’ will start a meeting for that day. Tatsu will notify the channel that the meeting is starting and it will call on the first participant. 'skip’ will skip the current participant and move on. Once the rotation is complete, it will return to any skipped participants. 'dismiss’ will skip a participant for the day. Useful for people who are on vacation or otherwise not in the "office". ‘quit’ will prematurely end the standup for the day. This will notify the channel that the standup has ended and cease asking questions.
@kwdinc This is awesome. Excited to start using with the Visage team.
@kwdinc Thank you for kind words.
Hey all, I am the developer behind Tatsu. Thanks for the kind words, if you have any questions please let me know, I would love to answer them. We have been using Tatsu for the last few months for our remote team and it's helped our communication and eliminated distractions tremendously.
@uvarovdd Thank you Ivan.
