You'd be amazed but many companies still prefer to mail hard drives than try to send something across the internet! @bogomep Great question - we take a look at security from three different perspectives, transport level security, application level security, and corporate firewalls. From a transport level perspective, we use the industry standard TLS library (OpenSSL) to provide perfect forward secrecy for all of our packets. At the application level, we provide full encryption beginning at the upload client library and ending at the download client library, meaning that the data is completely obfuscated the entire time it is traversing our network and is always encrypted at rest while on our drives. Wrt to corporate firewalls we are working on using common hole-punching techniques.
