Surt v4

I built Surtr because I kept running into the same frustrations with existing Windows automation tools. Scripts I wrote would break the moment an app updated, a window resized, or I switched to a different screen resolution. Coordinate-based clicks are just too fragile for real-world use. I also hated juggling multiple tools—one for macros, another for image recognition, something else for web scraping or file watching. I wanted one lightweight app that could reliably handle GUI tasks (even on dynamic UIs), record macros easily, grab data from the web, and manage files/system stuff—all without installing a bunch of dependencies. Surtr started as a simple image-clicker, but as I used it myself, I kept adding the things I actually needed: a macro recorder, OCR for text targeting, a proper web fetcher/downloader, file monitoring, JSON tools, pixel checks, and more. The Pro WebUI came later when I realized how useful it would be to control or monitor automation remotely from a browser. The whole process evolved organically—build what solves my immediate pain, test it daily, then share it. Version 4.0 is the result of years of that loop.
