Inspiration I'm hooked on production games. After messing around with AI wrapper apps, I wanted to make something different. That's how Supply Chain Master came to be. What it does Supply Chain Master is a mobile game where you're the big boss building an industrial empire. Here's what you can do: - Establish production lines for essential materials - Unlock advanced manufacturing capabilities - Optimize resource allocation and logistics - Balance supply and demand for maximum profit - Face tougher challenges: The game gets harder as you get better. How I built it I used these tools to build the game: - React Native - Expo - Claude AI Challenges I ran into I'm new to React Native, so I hit some snags: - Making it run fast: The game has a lot going on, so keeping it smooth was tough. - Keeping track of everything: Managing all the game's productions and consumptions without slowing it down was a challenge. - Making it work in the background: Had to figure out how to keep the game calculating resources correctly even when you're not in the app. - Making it look good and easy to use: Showing all the info you need without it being overwhelming took some work. Accomplishments that I am proud of Building Supply Chain Master was a big deal for me: - It's the most complex app I've made so far. - I learned a ton about React Native mainly state management with frequent state updates and actually made -something that works well. - Using AI to help me code was a game-changer. - I built the game in a way that makes it easy to add new stuff later. What I learned This project taught me a lot: - I now get how React Native really works. - I'm better at managing complex data in apps. - I learned how to make a game that's challenging but still fun. What's next for Supply Chain Manager Here's what I'm planning to add: - Game Center stuff: Leaderboards and achievements to make it more competitive. - Better graphics: Make the resources look cooler, right now the images are AI generated. - Android Version I'm going to keep working on Supply Chain Master to make sure it stays fun and challenging for strategy game fans.
