I was sitting around waiting to try out the brand new JavaScript framework of the week 😅 and got a notification regarding DALL-E-2 API finally being publicly accessible. The obvious next step was to curl some requests and see how well it performs. It was cool and all until it struck me, wait, I've seen Stable Diffusion used in Photoshop, Figma and even Blender why not make a Figma plugin for DALL-E-2 to test the API in a more practical environment? So I set out to do just that, a Figma plugin to use DALL-E-2 directly inside Figma, I wanted to make it free (mainly due to time constraints for implementing a payment + OAuth feature). It's also completely open-source so if you have any suggestions or features you want to add feel free to open a PR 🚀! As of now there's a small issue with the Edit image feature since it only works with 512x512 resolution images but I hope I'll fix it soon. I guess coding something like this in less than a week (mild flex) wasn't too shabby. Give it a spin and let me know what you think! I'm curious to see what you generate 🤖.
