In Stubborn Attachments, Cowen argues that our reason can help free us of the faulty ideas that hold us back as a society. Stubborn Attachments, at its heart, makes the contemporary moral case for economic growth and delivers a dose of inspiration and optimism about our future.

This is the 3rd (I think?) book published by Stripe. The first book (High Growth Handbook) came from @eladgil1 earlier this year.

@brianna_wolfson1 What's Stripe Press? I mean, there's what's on the site - - but, how big is the team? Background? What writers/kinds of work do you look for? More specifically in the book market - are you distributed by a major or anything like that? Thanks!

Hi @shloky- The core Stripe Press team is small, but we collaborate across Stripe more broadly to produce, distribute, and share the books with readers. We publish books about technological and/or economic progress that reinforce optimism about the benefits of advancement in those fields. Let us know if there's any writing or writers you love in those fields!
