I tried posting it earlier but couldn't, as there was already a 'Pre-Launch' hunt of the game. Anyways, has anyone tried this? Reviews aren't so good.

@akshaybharwani Yeah, I've seen mixed reviews, but would still like to try it out. Will probably check it out when I get back home. Unless I can convince @rrhoover to let me put on a Street Fighter tournament here in the office 👀.

@akshaybharwani After the rocky launch, with servers frequently down, I managed to play a dozen matches online last night and enjoyed it. It's hard to speak to the competitive quality without putting in a half dozen hours, but the core game play felt fun. The problem is that the release seems rushed, with an unfinished story mode and some menu items greyed out at launch. Pick it up if you're looking to play online or with friends. But if you enjoyed the single player experience in past games, wait to see if they do more than they have so far.

@jakecrump @akshaybharwani @rrhoover Bought it yesterday. It's hard, I don't recognize the characters. But can be fun

@akshaybharwani I'm enjoying it, but not as a casual. I've had groups of friends come over and play a few hours of the game offline. Super fun. Combos/Characters are updated and feel new. It does NOT play like Street Fighter 4. The always-on-DRM stuff is really annoying. We got booted from some Local Multiplayer Versus matches because we disconnected from the server. Silly. I haven't played anything online, just local versus. I've heard server issues are just super aggravating, and offline content is pretty bare bones. (And you need to be online, to unlock offline content?) My recommendation: Great if you're a competitor, or have people to play with. Wait if you're a casual/offline player and want more fun.
