Hi there! Have you ever felt like you or your staff aren't being recognised for their work? Or you're not sure what your peers or other teams are focused on and how you're aligned to the current mission? Having gone from product engineering to leading global teams and then leading a national engineering department I have seen countless people be ignored or fail to receive the recognition they deserve. This has become even more poignant as people become less visible while working from home. This is where Story Time steps in, we're trying to encourage visibility and recognition but in a different way from the current employee engagement tools. Current recognition and employee engagement tools rely on surveys, loud voices, cheers, etc but none link to what people are spending their time on. Having recognition linked directly to the work, highlighting that each person builds on top of the work of others, then everyone gets to see how they are directly contributing to the success of the business and know they are appreciated. The added benefit of this is people can become more aligned as the work is visible for all. As an entrepreneur, I’d hate to undervalue someone’s work and potential. This app would perfectly track this, and help us give them the recognition they deserve. Really cool concept, love the feature of being able to track engagement through graphs.

Being in businesses from early startup to large scale enterprise we've certainly seen people feel undervalued or not have what they find valuable be recognised. On the flip side seeing organisations that get it right their employees are truly engaged, happy and motivated! That's always so rewarding to see

Working in startups can be so draining when you put every ounce of your potential into it, I certainly relate to this! Employees like us would feel more recognised and appreciated with an app like this! Love the feature of being able to attach images and link stories to directly see the value people add.

@diya_bedi1 Without employees delivering the work, and being recognised for it, how does a business be truly effective? I've been there as the employee, and as the leader and I know which cultures I've seen perform better! Glad you like those features. Knowing we're contributing and others are building on top of our work is always incredibly rewarding.

@jumana_abu_ghazaleh Currently we use Zapier to support integrations and have an example of how to setup with Slack https://story-time.io/stories/st... There are definitely ideas on how to integrate more tightly with Slack around reactions, threads, etc but it'll be a little while longer before we get to that.
