Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Ihab, and I built StepSyncAI as a passion project after struggling to find a health tracker that respected my privacy. Why I built this: I needed to track multiple medications, mental health patterns, sleep, and exercise—but every app I tried either: Sent my health data to the cloud 😬 Required a login/subscription 💸 Lacked medication safety features ⚠️ So I built StepSyncAI with three core principles: 1. Privacy-First: 100% offline-first. Your health data never leaves your device. No servers, no tracking, no analytics. It's stored in your browser's localStorage—only you can access it. 2. Actually Useful: Real-time dosage validation for 50+ medications, warnings for 100+ dangerous drug interactions (like benzodiazepines + opioids), and beautiful Chart.js visualizations to spot patterns. 3. Free & Open Source: MIT licensed on GitHub. No paywalls, no premium tiers. If you want a feature, you can literally add it yourself or request it. What makes it different: Most health apps focus on fitness. StepSyncAI is designed for people managing chronic conditions, multiple medications, or mental health challenges—where privacy and safety aren't optional. I'd love your feedback on: Is the medication validation helpful, or does it feel intrusive? What other health metrics would you want to track? Would you actually use this, or is the offline-first approach too limiting? Built with vanilla JavaScript, 1,927 tests, and lots of caffeine ☕️ Try it at: https://isaloum.github.io/StepSy...
