I got tired of rebuilding the same components every time I wanted to try a new idea in Lovable, v0, or Bolt. I was burning time (and tokens) recreating what already existed.
So we built Stencil. A supercharged Copy & Paste for vibe coding. Capture elements from any webpage, store them in your own component library, and paste them straight into your favourite builder, ready to iterate on.
It’s already made my workflow way faster!

It's like going back to the days I had "snippets" sitting in Fireworks, Dreamweaver or even frigging Notepad ready to fling something new out and try it, love it 💪🏻
@cally_russell What a great question! Time saved, it's gotta be hours. Rebuilding UI was taking so long and taking a ton of prompts to get it accurate. Only then could I start iterating.
Alot of the UI Stencil UI we iterated on in v0 and the rest done with Claude Code.
Thanks@vladimir_lugovsky ! We actually don't use computed css at all (it's produces a total mess). Instead we render in a headless chrome and do some magic there.

It does very very well. Occasionally there are some oddities but we've testes across various frameworks etc.
