Hi everyone!

Valve is basically bringing the GameCube back :)

The new Steam Machine runs SteamOS, so they don't have to be tied to MS or inconsistent 3rd-party hardware. And it's tiny, a 6-inch cube that looks like a mysterious black stone on your desk.

They also announced the new Steam Frame headset. Valve is building a complete ecosystem: Console (Machine) + Headset (Frame) + Portable (Deck).

Of course, both the new Machine and the Frame support running games locally. Valve hasn't forgotten its roots, and local play is a must-have. But at the same time, they've clearly optimized the streaming experience. Streaming from the Machine to the Frame, or from the Machine to the Steam Deck, looks like it will be seamless.
