Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Amit Kumar, the founder of StayZ. I built StayZ because finding a PG or hostel in India is still stuck in the past — outdated sites, fake listings, zero trust, and no social layer. As a student myself, I saw this problem up close and knew there had to be a better way. So we created StayZ — a modern, Gen Z-first platform that lets students and working professionals swipe like Tinder to discover PGs, chat in community groups, book events, and get verified, real-time listings with great UX. 🎉 What’s unique in this launch: 🔥 Tinder-style PG discovery (fun & fast) 💬 Community group chats with others in the same PG or area 🗓️ Built-in event booking for social engagement 📍 Location-based PG suggestions 📸 Verified PG images, owner info, and real-time availability We’re live on the Play Store and already seeing amazing feedback from our closed beta. What I’m most proud of? We’ve built this completely in-house — backend, frontend, infrastructure, all done with love, code, and coffee ☕❤️.
