Building StaySaverz started with a simple frustration: why are travelers still paying 10–30% more just because big OTAs take huge commissions behind the scenes? I kept running into situations where the same room was listed at wildly different prices, and it became clear the average traveler had no idea how much markup they were actually paying. I wanted to build something that gives people the real, commission-free price—the actual rate hotels charge once you remove the middlemen. Throughout this process, I learned just how much opacity exists in hotel pricing and how quickly travelers can save real money once transparency is back on the table.
