For all the newly remote-working-slack-h8rs this is vital! 💯 I've been using Slack for years and definitely think one of the most underrated features is the status setter. It's a great way to set boundaries, increase transparency, and more importantly give your colleagues a sense of what you like to do with your time. It's super important to give your colleagues cues to ask you about things you do, whether that be spinning, yoga, boxing, reading, or just going to the dentist!🦷

Very cool! The $2 a month seems like a fair price for what it is. For what it's worth, I've been using a free Zapier account to automatically manage my slack statuses now for the past couple of months. For example: https://zapier.com/shared/ac6269... The downside to using Zapier is that it can be a bit of a pain to get it set up, and you also have to grant it a ludicrous amount of permissions to your slack account.

@tomchapin I have too tried Zaps. Automating everything say Google calendar, Zoom meetings or Custom status under one hood was difficult with it. Statusly gives you an option to easily see your upcoming agenda for the day. That was something I used to check before starting everyday. Statusly sets different priorities for each intergration. It gives Zoom call first priority, google calendar next and then custom routines. Getting a reminder before something is about to start is also something i needed. Give us a try and let us know :)
