Hey everyone, I’m Michael, founder of Starteryou 👋 I built this because I watched countless students struggle to find even their first opportunity. Career centers felt outdated, job boards weren’t built for beginners, and most “entry-level” listings demanded years of experience. None of it made sense. Starteryou started as a simple idea: what if we built a modern career platform actually designed for high school and college students? A place where your first job, internship, or freelance gig didn’t require a perfect resume or connections, just potential. We’ve spent months talking to students, schools, and employers, and the message was always the same: “We just need something built for us.” Today’s launch is our step toward fixing that.
