Came across this in today's Sidebar email. It's neat because I was recently musing about needing a documentation tool for changes I make to our website. I don't think Stack is particularly unique - I use Trello & Asana for all of my work tasks to track what's on the backburner or currently in progress, but I can see where this would be super beneficial for larger design teams. One feature I see outright that seems more efficient is the Closed tasks tab. That'd be super helpful in terms of documentation, as archived Trello cards do the trick but not particularly well. I mentioned this in another hunt, but I love that they use short videos to demo features instead of static screenshots. Gets my wheels turning for my company's next site iteration.

@stttories nice hunt! :)

I fail to see how this is different from Trello?
Alexis Ohayon@alexisohayon · CEO,
@mase I agree. From what I saw on the videos, I already do all that stuff with Trello. Maybe is the added value not visible enough on the landing?
Alan DowniePro@alandownie
@mase @alexisohayon It's still early days, but we're very much focused on the developer market. You'll start to see features appearing supporting teams, source control integration, fast search, proper issue/defect tracking, time tracking, task dependencies/scheduling/calendars and a bunch of other stuff.

Interesting. I don't understand the conventions in the project activity stream: what is displayed? Also referring to tasks by number and not title is confusing
Alan DowniePro@alandownie
@stoweboyd The activity stream is not great at the moment, I'll be the first admit that. It displays everything at the moment, which is waaay too noisy. The task ids are ok in my book, but we certainly need to add the title (or at least a hover state to display the title), I agree. In actual fact we're working on a notification system that will likely replace the stream. We'll see how that goes.
