What I'm curious about is - what do all these alternatives mean for Spritz themselves? They raised a ton of money, released a demo, and now it's been cloned before they even launch. Is all this publicity/cloning good for them, or does it mean their product is DOA?

I was just going to post this @jongold! Just tested this out and while it's not all that effective at picking out the relevant text on a given webpage to read, it works well when used with google reader or an app like pocket. Wonder how long it'll take for all the reader apps to add their own version of this.

Would love to see a Pocket integration! Here's another speed reading bookmarklet called OpenSpritz that was shared last week.

Wow - this is awesome. I used to use Spreeder (http://spreeder.com/app.php?intro=1) a bit but this takes it to a new level.

Also, would be awesome if it had a favicon for easy navigation in bookmarks bar: http://cl.ly/image/0A1w3P3O321k
