Most flashcard apps lock your data away. SpreadsheetMemo treats Google Sheets as the content source, giving you full ownership and familiar bulk-editing tools. Standout features: · Formulas: Use RAND or CONCATENATE to create dynamic questions that change every time-perfect for math. · Rich Media: Supports TeX/AsciiMath, YouTube embeds, and images. · Advanced TTS: Mix 30+ languages on a single card. · No Lock-in: Your study material stays safe in your Drive.

Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I’m the maker behind SpreadsheetMemo - https://spreadsheetmemo.com/
The inspiration:
I love spaced repetition for learning, but I felt constrained by the limitations of traditional flashcard apps. The friction of managing data inside closed editors felt restrictive, and I didn't want to export/import CSVs just to fix a typo. I wanted my study materials to be based on something I already know works well - a simple, familiar environment: Google Sheets.
The goal:
To build a tool where you own the data. SpreadsheetMemo treats Google Sheets as the source of truth. If you want to bulk-edit 500 cards, you just drag a cell in Sheets. No vendor lock-in, no proprietary databases.
How it evolved:
Initially, I just wanted to sync static text within spreadsheet cells. But while building, I realized the massive potential of the spreadsheet engine itself.
· Why limit it to static text? → So I added support for Google Sheets Formulas. Now you can use =RAND() combined with CONCATENATE to create dynamic cards (like math problems that change numbers every time you review them).
· Why just text? → I added support for TeX/AsciiMath, wiki-style markup, YouTube embeds, images, links and advanced Text-to-Speech that can mix languages.
