    Lite and customizable

Hangs occasionally, does not support radio (thumbs up/down yet)

I have used SpotMenu for almost half a year or more now and I absolutely love it. The only thing that's missing in my opinion, is the ability to like/dislike tracks when using the radio feature.

    Beautiful and incredibly useful.

In active development, so new features and bug fixes happen all the time.

    10/10 app. Thanks kmikiy!

Been waiting for SkipTunes to fix its Spotify API issues for a long time... this looks like a great free alternative! Long track names do get long... a scrolling or custom appearance option would be nice!
@chrismessina this is a reoccurring issue. I haven't had time to deal with it properly. You can read more about its difficulties here . Simply limiting the maximum character length could be a solution. I couldn't find any open source libraries for scrolling labels for macOS, I don't know how difficult it would be to implement one.

@kmikiyy I wonder if this is at all useful? I used to use Synergy and IIRC it supported displaying some track info in the menu bar?

Finally, a great free alternative for Simplify.

Great product, also a hilarious easter egg in the Preferences of the widget!
