Color scheme and logo seem to heavily borrow from Tinder?
Hi @justin_rockmore , I admit the logos look alike but I had another idea before. When I improved the old logo, it was Tinder-like so I decided to choose the same color scheme because I love it.
I'm Franz, 16y/o, Sole Developer of Spinym. I've been working on the project since day one. Don't hesitate to ask me any questions. Best Regards, Franz
@franznkemaka What made you to work on this project?!
@naveen_y Hi, thanks for asking. To be honest, Spinym is not the only anonymous app in the Play Store, so it is not a new app concept. I created Spinym focusing on the safety of my Users like others (ASKfm, Tellonym) do but in a different way. In Spinym users can turn their profile private or even select who can ask them questions. I developed Confanity™, an advanced natural processing algorithm to filter hate speech content. I hope I could answer your question. Best Regards, Franz
@franznkemaka congrats Franz. Impressive, continue shipping and learning!
Nice idea but it’s too similar to Tinder 😬
Hi @paolopacchiana , do you mean the logo? The app concept is totally different. I admit the logos look alike but I had another idea before. When I improved the old logo, it was Tinder-like so I decided to choose the same color scheme because I love it.
Do you have a plan to launch it on IOS ?
Hi @mikedane7 , yes I do but due to financial difficulties, I decided to work on the Android version first. At the end of 2019 or at the first quarter of 2020, I'll release the Web App version, which looks exactly like the native app. Since I don't have a Mac, it is impossible to make a native iOS App.
