Hey Product Hunt, I’m Parth, the maker of SpaceO.
I wanted agents to use real Mac apps while I kept working on my own screen.
SpaceO gives agent sessions separate virtual displays:
• Connect through MCP or the CLI to read, click, type, and take screenshots.
• Watch supported native-app and Chromium sessions in the Viewer.
• Pause a session and take over when an agent needs human help.
It is attention isolation, not a security sandbox. Apps run as your macOS user. Runtime support depends on your macOS build; Electron targets are refused.
SpaceO is free and MIT licensed for Apple Silicon on macOS 14+. Read the current release notes before installing: release qualification is still incomplete and a WindowServer freeze remains unresolved.
Which supported Mac workflow would you want an agent to handle separately?
Giving agents their own virtual display is the part I keep coming back to — I like working on my own screen while an agent drives a real Mac app elsewhere, instead of fighting it for focus. The pause-and-take-over flow also feels essential to me, since that is exactly when I would want to step in. I appreciate the clear note that this is attention isolation, not a security sandbox, so expectations are set honestly.
Our evening routines run in my own Chrome, in a tab group of their own, because they need my logins. Does the Chromium session in SpaceO use my existing profile, or does each agent start logged out?
