This is awesome. I was having this discussion recently with someone on how Clyp could help fuel a stock sound effects site.

Stumbled upon this site while I was searching for custom sounds for our new app. Thought the interface looked pretty slick as compared to all the other sites I stumbled upon. Their client list looks rather impressive!

I don't patronize businesses that try to hide their pricing.

Pros:

None.

Cons:

Soundsnap will waste your time dragging you through a lengthy sign-up process before revealing prices--which are too high.

@lisa_light Hey Lisa, it's Daniel from Soundsnap. We've never aimed to hide pricing from our customers, that's why pricing page is accessible from site's top navigation. I do realize though, that many people think that Soundsnap is a free sound effects website. For those, the current flow is indeed lengthy. We're going to fix this in the the next release (by the end of September). Super thankful for your feedback -- means and helps a lot!
