Gorgeous app with really well done sound. I'm a heavy Pzizz user, but Sonus Island is something a little different, and definitely easy on the eyes. Here's the background story.
We're super excited to be on Product Hunt today! Thanks @chrismessina for hunting us! Sonus Island is designed to help you relax, focus and sleep better. With Sonus Island we combine beautiful illustrations with high quality 3D sounds. You can take a trip to this tropical island anywhere you are, whenever you like and listen to a guided meditation or experience the island by yourself. We first started thinking about an Island-themed app last year, when we were on holiday on La Palma, one of the Canary Islands. The Canaries are an archipelago located in the Atlantic Ocean. We loved walking on the black volcanic beaches after climbing a volcano, feeling the fresh sea wind on our faces. The contrast between the black volcanic beaches and the blue sea is absolutely stunning, the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks amazing. After watching dolphins and discovering waterfalls in ancient rainforests we just wanted to take that island vibe home! The whole island vibe made us feel so relaxed and at ease. Although we used the Canary Islands as a starting point, we just let our imagination run freely. Using all this as a mood board, we started creating our own unique island, unlike any other island. We are a husband and wife design duo. Based in the Netherlands we love making apps inspired by nature. We'd love to hear what you think :) If you have any questions lets us know! Thanks!
I like your drawing style very much! The images are beautiful and this looks really well done :) Do you plan an Android version?
@peter71585149 Thanks Peter, great to hear you like my illustrations! At this time we don't have any android plans, maybe in the future :)
I just used this today on a 3 hour journey (Also used pziz). Really great job! Love the simplicity and beautiful illustrations. One request, more crashing ocean waves but with less rubbing rocks.
@sign Thanks! Great to hear you like it :) I've put it on the list to look at for the next update.
