Hello! I have the pleasure of presenting the Songlink Chrome extension, a tool to make sharing music with Songlink even easier. Antoine, a power user of Songlink, built the majority of this extension. After showing me his initial work, I decided I wanted to help him and "endorse" it as an official Songlink integration. I made a few minor improvements to the code and we also decided to open source it. We'd love it if any of you fellow makers want to help us improve it. There's also a Firefox version, created by another power user, Matthieu. To use the extension, simply click the extension's icon when you're on a song or album page on any of the streaming platforms we support*. The extension will then copy the Songlink URL to your clipboard. It will also open up the Songlink in a new tab. You can set your desired behavior in the extension's options if you want it to copy to clipboard, open the Songlink page, or both. Songlink is an automated platform that makes sharing music easier by providing a platform-agnostic link you can share with your friends, regardless of the streaming app they use. Hope you enjoy the extension. Let us know if you have any questions or ideas for how to make it even better! Cheers, Kurt * Songlink currently supports YouTube, YouTube Music, Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Google Play Music, Deezer, Tidal, Napster, SoundCloud, Napster, Spinrilla, Amazon Music and Yandex.Music.

It can't detect current playing song, only page URL.
