Solid’s AI agents build apps, automate workflows and tackle work you lack the time or expertise for. They pick and set up their own real machines, create accounts and pay for services. They use your apps through APIs or log in like a person. They build what’s missing and fix problems along the way. Think beyond personal agents like Grok Bot and Muse: Solid is built for complex, long-running work for you and your team. Close your laptop. Solid owns the job from start to finish.
Reviewers see Solid as a strong app-building tool, especially for quick MVPs and full-stack projects. They repeatedly praise its autonomy, smooth prompting workflow, and the fact that it includes a real, functional backend, with some preferring it over Lovable, Replit, and similar tools. Cost is the main complaint: several users say credits run out too quickly or too early, and one user hit errors that consumed credits before finishing. Still, support was described as responsive, and a maker of Glasshand says Solid powers deployment orchestration for their devices.

I am absolutely mesmerized by Solid. The sheer autonomy of these agents is mind blowing. They independently provision their own machines, create separate accounts, and manage budgets. It’s captivating to just assign a complex task and watch Solid flawlessly handle the entire lifecycle on its own.
vs Alternatives
I evaluated tools like Lovable, Replit, and Claude, but Solid left me spellbound. Instead of just assisting with code, it completely owns the job from start to finish, effortlessly replacing the need for a dozen other specialized tool subscriptions.
Solid is quite the underdog compared to competitors like Leap and Replit. However, if you are creating an MVP, I would highly recommend trying it with Solid. They work with a credit system that gives you way more value for your money. I've experienced errors with getting a preview but customer service is quick to solve those problems. So, if you are low on budget but want to create a complex application, I'd say that Solid is a great choice.
So I tried moving from another platform to this. Just prompts no code. Unfortunately I had errors, and I could not finish AI fixing the errors
"You don't have enough credits to complete this request.
Upgrade your plan or purchase additional credits to continue building."
Edit:
Didn't have a good experience in this case, but I appreciate the founder reply.
My rating has more to do with my personal experience rather than the overall app capabilities.
I would have appreciated it if
1. The bugs caused by the Solid system didn't cause credits to fix ( because remember all I came to the table with was prompts)
2. I have a clearer understanding, warning or discuss mode maybe? Because I may not have minded upgrading to a paid tier? But I wouldn't have known which paid tier could have coped with my demand.
That's my feedback, but overall l like your project. I'm very excited about your mission and I hope you do very well.
Hi James, thanks for the feedback. Just to clarify for others — the free tier (30 daily credits) is designed for quick trials or iterations over many days, not for completing in 1 day a full app with iteration and debugging. Solid always generates real, production-grade code (Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, Docker).
Because you’re not just spinning up a simple frontend but a real full-stack project, it requires a bit more effort but that’s exactly why it’s worth it if you’re serious about building software. We built Solid to avoid the trap of having to throwaway your project once you are 1 month in. Which happens all the time with other solutions.
