Snooze Files is a small Mac app that temporarily moves files out of your way and brings them back to their original location when you’re ready. Works very similarly to Gmail snooze for emails. Right-click a file in Finder, choose Snooze File and pick a time - that's it. Your file will return to the same folder after that time. It’s a simple way to clear your desktop, put a document aside, or save something for next week.
I'm an Inbox Zero kind of person and I love my email inbox and desktop totally clear. When I have something in my inbox email folder or a file on my desktop, it usually means I have a task to attend to.
But sometimes I don't need to deal with the task right away and it should be handled in a few hours or days. In Gmail I have the snooze email button but on the Mac I don't have anything like that. So I developed it.
