I'm curious about security. Is the feed encrypted at all? since this doesn't need to be on the same network is there a control server between the two devices?

So honest question: are the two O's in the logo in your video supposed to be thinly veiled sexual innuendo? In your video you even put a subtle "an app for home security... or maybe not" Maybe it's not intentional, but the marketing makes it seem targeted towards creepers.

@avimuchnick LOL! loving your observation but no sexual innuendo. The O's just seemed a perfect set of eyes which the animated "pupils" later confirm. The word Snoop just had a little whimsical ring to it so we wanted to integrate that into the app as well. Perhaps you want to know who stole that special dessert you've been saving or just a really simple thing like knowing when your coffee is ready. We've had people come up with hilarious applications which don't necessarily fall under home security - hence the maybe not :)

Interesting, this makes me think of Manything, a simpler version of course. Do you have any plan to offer the cloud recording in the future and how reliable is it? (eg: reconnect after a disconnection)

@jimbb Hey Jimmy - Thanks for appreciating! We have a number of ideas to integrate in the upcoming days and yes cloud recording is one of them. Although we want to stick to the core idea of keeping it real bare bones so we will try and figure what works best. It's very reliable, we have a team catering to just testing Snoop on multiple devices and identify any bugs. Do help us spread the word if you love the product :)

@lyondhur thank you! for starters we aren't hellbent on the user to have only a gmail account to start using the app :) Alfred is a great app no doubt, but ours is a simpler and a much straightforward user flow with some fun in between.
