Effortless live code demos that work every single time!

#4 Product of the DayApril 23, 2018

Snippetty is a live coding assistant that lives in your system menu and hands you the right code snippet at the right time. It's an invaluable tool for anyone presenting during webinars, conference talks, corporate demos, podcasts, and more. And instead of making you use some clunky UI, it works with Markdown. Everybody loves Markdown!

This looks awesome. The only problem I have with it is that there is no mention of pricing on the website. I was assuming it was a free tool, and so downloading it and seeing the "Buy/Activate License" button kind of turned me off. If I had seen that it would cost $17 before I downloaded it though, it probably wouldn't have been a problem at all though. Also I'm slightly wary of buying something from inside the app because I can't see where my money is going or if the transaction is secure. I would have much rather purchased through your website where I can see all of that more easily. That being said, this looks awesome! I think it's a really cool idea, and I intend to try it out during my next presentation.
@dnsbty that's great feedback, thank you! It feels that a button to directly buy a license from the website should solve the issues you had.
@dnsbty additionally, it was never my intention to mislead people that Snippetty is a free product. I do realize the website doesn't explicitly mention that and I need to add it somewhere prominently
