The entire process of capturing, maintaining, and handing over issues to developers for enhancements used to involve a lot of friction. Here's a glimpse of how we used to manage it:

Our earlier process:
Take a screenshot → Edit in image editor → Save to cloud → Track in spreadsheets → Handover to developers → Create Jira tickets.

Problems we faced:

• Every time we took a screenshot, we had to upload it manually and share a link, which would open externally.

• Sometimes, the extension we used took time to upload or didn’t work at all.

• The process of capturing screenshots, adding annotations, and uploading them involved multiple tools.

• We tracked issues using an Excel sheet, but other teams, like Product and QA, had their own formats. Eventually, developers had to compile everything manually into Jira.

• If I wanted to show an interaction issue, I had to record it using system defaults, upload it to Drive, and then link it in the Excel sheet.

That’s when the idea struck:

What if there was a Chrome extension that allowed me to take screenshots or videos, annotate them, and directly send them to Jira?
