Hey Product Hunt. I'm Garrett and I built SnapGlyph.
The thing that initially got me building it was my frustration with the shady practices of prevalent QR code apps and the excessive pricing charged by those apps.
As a marketer, I was also frustrated with needing to subscribe to multiple different apps in order to use branded QR codes, branded shortlinks, link-in-bio pages, and manage UTM parameters. I set out to build something that I would want to use, and that would never hold people's links hostage. That's why static QR codes are free, and we charge a fraction of what the dominant players in the QR code, shortlink, and link-in-bio page space charge.
SnapGlyph has four primary features:
- QR codes with custom colors, patterns, and logos. Free static versions, tracked dynamic versions on paid plans.
- A branded URL shortener. Use your own domain, track clicks, set expiration dates or click limits.
- Link Hubs - a link-in-bio page with a built-in QR code and click analytics. One URL for everything.
- Tracking parameter management. Predefine approved tracking parameters (eg. utm parameters) for use in your links
There's also a Chrome and Edge extension if you want to grab a QR code or shortlink for whatever page you're looking at or just don't want to have to always be opening a new browser tab just to get at your QR codes.
Been building this for 9 months and would love to hear what you think - especially if you've dealt with the expiring QR code trap before or are currently using multiple apps to manage QR codes, shortlinks, link-in-bio pages, and utm parameters.
