What do you think? …

Daniel Kempe
We built this because we wanted a way to combine messaging friends, family and completely random people together.. Send pics, vids and self destructing photos! So whats different, with Snapa you can request a pic from anyone. We've found its a great way to start a conversation! We are constantly working to improve the app and welcome any comments and questions @danielkempe - thanks so much @rrhoover

@danielkempe 1) do you worry having too much will dilute its focus? what would you say is Snapa's core function? 2) what do you think is the business opportunity here? 3) what's your user acquisition plan?
Daniel Kempe
@eriktorenberg Thanks for your comment! Our main focus is the request feature. Its a great way to start conversations with existing friends or completely new people. We've got some really cool features in development. This involves local businesses and offers. Snapa users can request Snapa deals. We'll be partnering with local businesses to test drive this feature. The cool thing about this is businesses can target exact demographics based on age, location and interest. We've started on our own marketing efforts to gain new users. We've included sharing options in app to help users invite friends. We have a few events lined up to encourage signups! Thanks so much for comments!

@danielkempe so the core value proposition is the same as Povio. How do you plan to differentiate yourselves?
Daniel Kempe
@joshbarkin The main difference is Snapa isn't just about connecting or keeping in touch with friends, but also reaching out to completely new people. Its not all about their point of view, it can be anything, completely random, but no matter what the picture, it starts a conversation. When someone request a photo, the receiver can either accept or reject the request (app keeps score). Once they accept, they've got just 5 seconds and the app will auto take the photo and send it back. It adds to the fun. We'll also add local feeds too where users can post pictures and potentially gain connections. It really is amazing how easy it is to start a conversation with someone you've never met before with a picture..

If sending a yo was like sending a request for a photo you get @snapaapp!
