Quick FAQ: Q: How is this different from Apple's built-in filter? A: Apple's filter is keyword-based and static. SMS Spam Armor uses pattern recognition to catch sophisticated attacks that don't contain obvious spam keywords. Q: Does it really never send my messages anywhere? A: Correct. Everything runs using on-device ML. I can't see your messages even if I wanted to (and I definitely don't want to). Q: What about iMessage? A: Unfortunately, iMessage can't be filtered due to end-to-end encryption. This only works for SMS/MMS from unknown senders. Q: Why did you build this? A: The number of spam messages I get keep increasing. My expertise is in cyber security and I can catch phishing and fraud messages but some attacks are so sophisticated, that they fool me. I made a product to help everyone from these increasing attacks. The app puts you in control.
