smplogs is a professional observability suite for AWS (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway) that prioritizes data sovereignty. Most tools require you to ingest logs into their cloud, creating security risks and "log taxes." smplogs flips the script by moving the analysis engine to your browser.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm a developer at a startup, and I got tired of the 'Observability Tax.' Usually, to get deep insights into AWS logs, you have to choose between a clunky CloudWatch UI or shipping sensitive data to a 3rd party SaaS - which usually triggers a 3-month security review.
I built smplogs to be the 'Security-Zero' alternative.
By compiling my analysis engine (Go) into WebAssembly, I’ve moved the heavy lifting into your browser tab. Your logs never touch my servers. This means you can get instant root cause analysis on ECS OOM kills or Lambda timeouts without asking for permission from SecOps.
What I'm most excited about: The 'Ghost Invocation' detector. It’s a specific logic bridge I built to find those hidden Lambda deaths that CloudWatch metrics often ignore.
I’ll be here all day (after my day job shift!) to answer any technical questions about the WASM implementation, the security model, or the clustering logic.
Happy analyzing! 🚀
