Smart Cube

As a Dad, I really like this approach. I have childproof locks everywhere, but am well aware that my son will eventually figure out each lock type. Having something that I can control with my phone is great -- assuming that I can keep my phone locked, of course. A great feature would be to take a photo from the front camera every time the lock is unlocked!

This makes every cupboard safe for children giving piece of mind to mothers everywhere. Whether it is keeping cleaning chemicals away from children or monitoring access to the liquor cabinet, this is the solution.

What kind of strength will the device have to attach to the inside of drawers? Is it just 3M stickers or screws ?

I totally had the same idea and I'm glad to see someone making it happen! Turns any drawer into a safe :)

This is hilarious. I would rather hope that you have some people living in your home t hat you can trust enough that they won't go around snooping in your cabinets and stealing your liquor from your storage cupboards. I reckon this might be useful as a child-lock though. More experimentation with the technology is probably needed before you can decide if this is going to change the face of security in your home though...
