SlipMail started from a very real and uncomfortable situation: being asked for your email just to receive a digital receipt.
I recently saw a well-known Spanish writer complain about this after a taxi ride — and it clicked. This isn’t about convenience, it’s about unnecessary data exposure.
At the same time, I’m working on a larger product built around email as the main entry point for handling financial documents. While building it, I decided to pause for a moment and solve this smaller, very concrete problem in the simplest possible way.
